Having Fun with Summer Time Kit

Hi everyone!  I hope your Summer is turning out to be exactly as you planned.  All week it has been raining crazy in my neck of the woods and when it rains, I like to hang out in my craft room with a HUGE cup of coffee and craft away.  And so that is exactly what I did.

My first project is a Daily Life page of what my Summer vacation looked like.  I went ahead and used my sister's pictures because I thought she captured the sunsets so well.

Ahhh, I am so happy with the way this page turned out and it makes me miss my hometown.  But I know it's just a 45 minute airplane ride away. Okay, along with a 30 minute drive. hehe!  So EVERYTHING on this page comes from the Summer Time Journaling Cards and Summer Time Print & Cut Kit from The Greeting Farm.

Now... I've been having the urge to make Summer Time Anya in Paris because Anya is always sweet yet sassy.  Don't you think?  So I created a step-card that shows the Eiffel Tower and because there isn't a beach near the tower I added a pool.  Surely there must be a pool somewhere close by right?  And I agree with Anya here... Life IS better at the pool!

One of my all time favorite things to make is homemade scrubs.

Here I upcycled a jar and filled it with a homemade orange cream sugar scrub and wrapped it with a Summer Time Journal Card. Even the blue paper behind the label is a journal card.  HAHA! I wasn't gonna waste anything!  I decided to decorate a gift box as well and again I used the same journal card and elements from the kit.  Of course I had to add the orange Popsicle :)

And for fun I made another card...

When I saw these stars I quickly had Skater Ian in mind.  And like a typical boy he's enjoying life.

Thank you so much for allowing me to share all my projects using this amazing kit with all of you!  I was having so much fun with it. Please visit The Greeting Farm and my fellow DT members ClaudetteCorinne, and Cynthia.  THANK YOU!

Summertime Mini Release

Hello friends!  I hope everyone had a fun and safe Holiday weekend.  Today I'm sharing a mini release on The Greeting Farm's Summer Time Journal cards. They are currently on sale over at The Greeting Farm.  These cards can be used in many ways... Daily life, scrapbook layouts, cards, and so much more!  Here are a couple of ways that I have used them...

Every paper you see here is from this new Summer Time Journal Cards Kit and the added elements are from the Summer Time Print & Cut Kit.  My photos didn't do justice to how beautiful the water was that day so I'm pleased with how much my page is brightened up with this kit.

I also created a card. All the background paper is from the Journal Cards and the sun and sentiment is from the Print & Cut Kit. I wanted to make a fishing card because I'm looking forward to doing some fishing this summer.

I hope you enjoyed my projects and that it has helped you in getting your creativity flowing.  Happy crafting everyone and be sure to stop by the other design team members for more crafty ideas.

Summertime is here!

Hi everyone!  Wow, Summertime is in FULL swing for my family and this new print and cut Summertime kit is keeping with my mood.  My excitement is bubbling over and I am having a blast playing with this kit.

Okay friends... This is exciting because with this Summertime kit from TheGreeting Farm, not only will you be receiving super cute elements but you'll also be getting TWO digis! Yes, you read correct!
In todays projects I used both Summertime Ian and Summertime Anya!  Now, being that I live in Hawai'i these two images will be worked! LOL!

So, my first project is a card featuring Summertime Ian. Doesn't he look like he belongs in some Disney Summer movie? Also from this kit is the "Summer days" banner, "Just relax" flag, and the scalloped edge border.  I added some summer design paper in the background and I just love using Kraft paper for my cards.

Next is a daily documentation of my daughter.  This gal cracks me up and I must say, I am a bit envious of how adorable she looks in my beach hat and sunglasses. LOL!

Summertime Anya is featured on this project along with more adorable elements from this kit.  I used the banner, "Enjoy life" flag, "Today I feel nice" ticket, "Today I feel cool" ticket, "Today I feel happy" ticket, and the rainbow.  I could go on and on with all these elements.

If you haven't already, please checkout The Greeting Farm blog to see what's happening on their blog and your chance to win this sweet Summertime Kit.  Also, we have a guest designer Kristina Warner.  This woman is A M A Z I N G! A Berry Sweet Gift

Hi everyone!  I'm here to share a couple more projects using the "Berry Sweet" Kit from The Greeting Farm.  Here I upcycled SPAM cans to make stationery gifts for my daughter's teachers.

The cans, notepads, and post its were all decorated using this super sweet kit.  This really has been my favorite project to work on.  I love that I can create a whole collection of gifts and have it revolve around a theme.

Next, I created a card...

Oh now I could not resist using these new images of "Wild Child" from The Greeting Farm to add to these sweet sentiments from the "Berry Sweet" Kit.

Thank you for stopping by and please stop by Cynthia's to see her adorable creations.

Shin-Shin Thank You Card

I received a wonderful surprise in the mail.  My SIL knows how much I love to read and was so kind to send a book from Amazon.  I have been wanting ink up the super cute stamp "Shin-Shin" from Sister Stamps. So this was the perfect opportunity.

I colored Shin-Shin with Copic Markers.  The sentiment and corner die cuts are from Island Scrapbooking.  Those die cuts are so nice to have on hand especially for emergency cards. :)

Thanks for taking a look!  Have a wonderful day!

Sweeeeet!

Hi there!

I'm sharing a couple of projects using the "Berry Sweet" Kit from The Greeting Farm Cut & Print and Daily Life.  From the moment I saw these kits I knew I just had to have them and boy was I super excited when given a chance to showcase it.

I created a festive tag. The background paper and decor along with the "Sweet" sentiment comes with the Berry Sweet Print & Cut kit.  I also colored up and added an image from The Greeting Farm "Twisted Tea" to the tag.  I had fun making this tag, well... because of the COLORS!!!!  LOL  So I just had to add all those colors from the kit onto Twisted Tea.

Next....

Okay, so I looove shaker cards!  Comm'on who can resist such cute sequins being shakin' up with an even cuter image...right?!!!  So on this card I used one of the daily life cards from the Berry Sweet Daily Life Kit and washi taped it to an acetate sheet.  *Go ahead, you can back up for a wink of a sec.  Did you catch it? Yes! I used WASHI TAPE! How much more simple can you possibly get?! hahaha.... Oh and added sequins which you can find here. And who wouldn't perk up with a "hello" card splashed with all these cute colors?

Well, I surely have more ideas.... Don't forget to checkout THE GREETING FARM for these super adorable kits along with their other fabulous kits and images.  And checkout Cynthia's blog for all her amazing creations.  It will blow your mind!

Have a great week and mahalo for stopping by!!!
